Voting in NBA election begins

KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The voting began in various polling centers all over the country from 9:00 am today for the 23 rd working committee of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA).



Voting also began in the Central Office of the Association at Ram Shah Path at 9:00 am and will last at 5:00 pm on Saturday. [break]



The election has been contested by Sher Bahadur KC from democratic panel and Hari Krishna Karki from progressive /republic group and Surendra Thapamagar from the indigenous nationalities.



Some 45 people have given candidacy for the 17-member Central Committee.
