Electing to bat first Army school made 73 runs losing all the wickets in 16.4 overs. Kiran Shrestha (14) and Sujan Basnet (10) were the only batsmen for Army School to reach double digit figure which got extra 22 runs. [break]
Atul Nirala was the pick of KSBV claiming five wickets in his four over spell. Nirala conceded 15 runs with a maiden over. Kamal Jodh Singh claimed two wicekts. Nirala was later declared the player of the final.
KSBV easily surpassed the target at 6.5 overs. Opening batsman Ravi Sharma hammered 51 off 23 as it made 74/1 in 6.5 overs. Taran Preet Singh scored 11 runs while Atul Nirala was unbeaten for six.
Earlier, in the second semifinal, Army school had defeated Galaxy Public by six wickets. Opting to bat first Galaxy made 76/7 in the 18 over match. Aakash Bista scored 21 runs Pratik Raj Bhandari 13 runs. Chasing the target, Army school made 77/4 in 14 overs. Opener Batsmen pair of Kiran Shrestha (20) and Niraj Shrestha (35) paved the victory way for Army.
The winner and the runner up teams batted a purse of Rs 80,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively along with trophies and certificates.
Atul Nirala of KSBV was declared the man-of-the-series and the best bowler while Niraj Shrestha of Army school won the best batsman award.
