Gold price falls while silver rises in Nepali market

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola compared to Friday, whereas silver increased by Rs 65 per tola.

KATHMANDU, May 3: The price of gold has declined in the Nepali market on Sunday, while silver has seen an increase.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola compared to Friday, whereas silver increased by Rs 65 per tola.

On Sunday, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 295,100 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 5,010 per tola.


On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 296,100 per tola, and silver at Rs 4,945 per tola.


In the international market, gold is being traded at around $4,750 per ounce, while silver is priced at $75 per ounce.
