UML Chair Khanal recommended from Ilam and Kathmandu

ILAM, Sept 1: The CPN-UML has recommended party Chairman Jhalanath Khanal from Constituency No 1 of the district as a candidate for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) in the November 19 Constituent Assembly election while Subash Chandra Nembang from Constituency No 2 of the district.



Chairman Khanal has also been recommended as a FPTP candidate for from Constituency No. 9 of Kathmandu district along with Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Shova Sapkota, said the party. [break]



Similarly, the party has recommended Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam for the FPTP candidate in the November 19 CA elections from Constituency No 1 of Pyuthan district.



The Constituency committee took this decision on Sunday.
