During the meeting which took place at NWPP Chair Bijukche's residence, Kamal Binayak, the two leaders discussed on ways to tone down the current unease in the country resulting from the Indian government's undeclared blockade of essential supplies including fuel at the border.NWPP Chair Bijukchhe stressed the need to seek alternate supply routes from other countries and not only be dependent on India for import of essential goods including petroleum products.
He advised UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal to import electronic vehicles and motorbikes as alternative to petrol and to send proposals to China among other countries, said NWPP Secretary Sunil Prajapati.
The UCPN (Maoist) leader said his party would make changes to its earlier procedures to run the government, Prajapati added. Dahal also said his party was now focusing on making the country self-dependent. RSS
