Two govt employees killed, one injured in Pyuthan landslide

DANG, July 11: Two government employees have been killed and another one is injured in a landslide at Gothiwang-2, Phursedhara of Pyuthan district on Thursday morning.



According to Om Bahadur Rana, DSP at district police office at Rolpa, Engineer Dev Raj Acharya and employee Lokendra Khadka of District Technical office, killed on the spot when rocks fell from the hills on a stationary jeep at around 6 am this morning.[break]



Among four people, another employee Bhuwan Shrestha has been injured, however, the driver of the jeep Subash Shrestha escaped unhurt in the incident. BHuwan is undergoing treatment at Ropa District Hospital.
