Sub-Inspector of Golbajar, Shailendra Gachchhadar said she was rescued acting on a tip-off by neighbors that she was forced to work without giving food from Friday morning.
The child told before the police and human rights workers that she was hungry all day and was beaten which caused swelling in the lips.
She said she was brought to send her to school but did not allow her to go to school. "I now want to go home. Please call my parents," she said.
Jain´s wife said she was slapped once or twice for alerting her as he committed misconduct.
Human rights workers here have demanded with the administration to take action on Jain and hand over the child to parents with compensation.
