Sports journalist KC dies

KATHMANDU, June 3: Senior sports journalist Kishor KC died at the age of 55 on Saturday in the USA. KC, who was suffering from lung cancer, died at a hospital in Boston while undergoing treatment. KC, who worked at Gorkhapatra daily for 25 years, had taken retirement last year and had been living in Boston, USA with his family since. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Meanwhile, Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) and South Asian Sports Journalists Association, Nepal issued separate press statements on Sunday and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
