Pashupati Plaza, City Center win
KATHMANDU, April 19: City Center and Pashupati Plaza Raiders won their respective matches in the Marwadi Premier League T20 Spice Parshuram Trophy Cricket Tournament on Sunday.
City Center defeated Royal Chargers by six wickets at the Modern Indian School Grounds on Monday. Batting first, Royal Chargers were all out for 59 runs in 12 overs. City Center chased the total in 9.3 overs losing only four wickets.
Likewise, Pashupati Plaza defeated Young Warriors by four wickets. Warriors put up 132/8 on the board and Raiders met the target losing six wickets and with a ball to spare.
Sunrise, Shiva Int´l win
BUTWAL, April 19: Sunrise Boarding School, Chitwan, and Shiva International Boarding School, Saptari, won their respective matches in the Inter School U-16 T20 National Cricket Tournament on Monday at the Siddhartha Stadium, Bhairahawa.
Shiva Int´l defeated New Lira Boarding School, Kathmandu by five wickets while Sunrise defeated Nawa Durga Boarding School, Kailali, by 29 runs.
New Lira batted first and were all out for 111 runs in 19.4 overs. Shiva Int´l met the target in 16.3 overs losing five wickets.
Likewise, Sunrise batted first and put up 156/5 on the board in 20 overs. Anupam Shrestha scored an unbeaten 46 for Sunrise. In reply, Nawa Durga were limited to 127 runs for the loss of nine wickets.
