The regular time of the game ended in 2-2 draw as Sajan Makaju and Sajan Byanju scored one each for the winner while Dawang Lama and Abhinna Shrestha struck for Malpi. Both the team failed to score in the extra time. Dhulekhel proved to be lucky in the tiebreaker.

Handball team off to India
Nepali national handball team undergoing training for the 11th South Asian Games in Pokhara left for Lucknow, India, on Monday to play a practice match.
According to Nepal Handball Association, the 19-member team includes 17 players -- Sandesh Regmi, Bishal Nepali, Bishal Banset, Rajendra Hamal, Padam Bahadur Nepali, Amar Shrestha, Tara Bahadur Thapa, Prakash Rawal, Dinesh Bista, Bishnuraj Giri, Phuldev Chaudhary, Kodilal Chaudhary, Deepak Singh Bohora, Bipin Bista, Bipan Chand, Jeevan Bahadur Basnet, and Prakash Singh Thakuri. Jeevan Basnet is the coach and NHA Vice-president Ram Krishna KC is the manager of the team.
The team invited by Indian Handball Association is being supported by Uttar Pradesh Handball Association.
Nepali team will play with six teams including Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh Police and University Clubs there.
The final selection of the team will be conducted after the team returns from India. Three players among 17 will be reduced for the final list.
Chess team leave for India
A ten-member chess squad left for Rajasthan, India on Monday to participate in the Lake City Int´l Fide Rating Chess tournament to be held there from December 17-22.

Nepali players include Fide Master Manish Hamal, Purusottam Chaulagain, Hari Chandra Chaulagain, Niraj Niroula, Jeevan Mainali, Man Bahadur Gurung, Birendara Kumar Mahato, Milan Rokka, Ram Surat Shah and Bikram Priya.
The tournament to be held until 10th round in the Swiss League method will be participated by players from four nations including Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
