All songs released in the past weeks have good lyrics and some even take you back in time, like that of Wiz Khalifa, Maroon 5, Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo. [break]
Here are some of the latest tracks, we think, you should listen to!
Maroon 5 featuring Wiz Khalifa – Payphone
If you like Maroon 5, you’re going to love “Payphone” the latest from the lads featuring Wiz Khalifa. “Moves Like Jagger” proved to be a huge hit and now it’s time to find out whether it was just a fluke or Maroon 5 are really headed towards their late career rebirth through their upcoming album “Overexposed”.
If not their new beginning, the band has certainly had a genre shuffle. The lyric is meaningful and Adam Levine croons in a downbeat mood as he reminisces about a failed relationship. You definitely need to have this on your loop-collection list!

Rita Ora – How We Do (Party)
Here’s a singer who, sort of, sounds like Carly Rae Jepsen and is creating quite a buzz. Rita Ora, the British singer-songwriter and actress has been featured in a couple of songs and now she’s offered her own debut single titled “How We Do (Party)”.
The record has bass-booming, reverb-drenched percussion as the singer/songwriter encourages listeners to let go of their cares and paint the town red.
Linkin Park – Burn It Down
Linkin Park has been a favorite of many since they emerged but their fan base has drastically changed along the years. Only after two years since the release of their last album, the rockers are already set to offer their fifth effort “Living Things” this year. Off the very album, comes there latest release “Burn It Down”. Fantastic track!
Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo - Think Like A Man ft. Rick Ross
Theme of the movie of the same name adapted from Steve Harvey’s book, Act Like A Lady, “Think Like A Man” is the latest single released by Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo featuring Rick Ross. The film has topped the US Box Office and so, the single will certainly be something to talk about.
Melanie Fiona feat. T-Pain - 6 AM
Singer Melanie Fiona teamed up with rapper T-Pain for the single “6 AM”, the follow-up to their individual respective hits, “4 AM” and yes, “5 O’ Clock”. And the new one appears as a bonus cut on Melanie’s new set, The MF Life. She is another Canadian artist who’s making it big with numerous awards under her belt and she feels glad to be doing what she loves.
Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard Play Hard
“Black and Yellow” hit maker Wiz Khalifa is soon offering us his sophomore effort titled O.N.I.F.C. and in edited version it stands for One Night in First Class. Good news is that if you love the rapper, the latest single is out.
Titled “Work Hard, Play Hard”, the single will definitely take you back in the early days of rap, at a time when electronic and trance music is taking over.
Adam Lambert - Never Close Our Eyes
Very unlike Adam Lambert, “Never Close Our Eyes” is the latest single out. The song is a recent cut from Lambert’s sophomore disc ‘Trespassing’. Penned by the romantic guy Bruno Mars, you can’t miss out on its thrillingly adoring lyrics against the backdrop of blistering Electro-Pop music. If you think you can dig that, you should take a listen but if you think Lambert is better off with a rock-ish music, you’re going to hate him in this song.
Gotye featuring Kimbra Kevin Rudolf - Somebody That I Used To Know
Gotye, a Belgian-Australian songwriter, is largely a one-man studio band, playing many instruments and building songs around samples from a record collection apparently filled with vintage soul, lounge music, soundtracks, and exotica.
And you can find all these elements in the single “Somebody That I Used To Know”.
From radio airwaves to internet, almost everyone’s been talking about the song and we suggest you listen to it too. Not to forget its cover on Glee and also by Walk Off The Earth.
