SC admin rejects writ against Karki recommendation

KATHMANDU, May 6: The Supreme Court administration on Monday refused to register a writ petition filed against the Constitutional Council (CC)’s recommendation to appoint former chief secretary Lok Man Singh Karki as chief of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).



According to Shree Kant Poudel, spokesperson for the apex court, the petition by advocate Om Prakash Aryal could not be registered as the defendant was not informed prior to filing of the petition. [break]
