Jawalakhel was short of a player in the 75th minute after Hem Gurung was sent off for second bookable offence.

Collins put the team in charge in the very second minute and set pass to Buddha Lama for second goal which came eight minutes later. Bishan Gauchan of Sahara was declared the man-of the-match for his all-round performance.

Sahara will take on ANFA Academy in the quarterfinal to be played on Saturday.

Sahara´s coach Kiran Shrestha expressed happiness for defeating A division outfit Jawalakhel which has been in top form lately. "The victory we achieved is the result of team work and it is a matter of pride for a club from outside capital to defeat Jawalakhel," Shrestha said.

Jawalakhel´s coach Rajaram Karki said that it was bad luck for his side to concede early goal. "The absence of defender Thomas Wangira cost the team dearly," KC said, adding, "The boys also failed to utilize scoring opportunities despite getting numerous chances."

Munal Club of Jhapa will take on Birgunj Youth Academy of Birgunj on Thursday.
