RPP, RJP to vote for NC, RPP-N to boycott poll

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, the only pro-royalist party in the Constituent Assembly, has decided to boycott the prime ministerial election slated for Sunday afternoon.



A meeting of the party´s Parliamentary Party held in Singha Durbar this morning took a decision to this effect. It has four seats in the parliament.[break]



Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP), have however, decided to support the Nepali Congress prime ministerial candidate in today´s election.



 RPP has eight seats, whereas RJP  has three seats in the parliament.
