Talking to journalists in Dadhikot of Bhaktapur district today, he said solution to current political impasse should be found through the election. Rana said this speaking in a ropain (paddy plantation) programme jointly organized by RPP District Committee, Bhaktapur, and RPP Dadhikot Village Unit Committee.
Rana who is the former president of RPP, stressed the need of holding talks with the agitating parties showing their discontent towards the election process and preparing the environment to bring these parties into the process.
Similarly, he said that the four-party syndicate should be ended and that the agitating political parties be brought to the election process. He said none should think that the CA election would not be held in the current political context though doubts from various quarters were expressed in this regard.
RPP leader and former Prime Minister, Lokendra Bahadur Chand, leaders Prakash Chandra Lohani, Buddhiman Tamang, Parshuram Khapung, Bhuvan Pathak, Sunil Thapa, Ravi Pratap Shah, and Surendra Pratap Shah, among others were present in the ropain programme.
