Yadav, 40, has been accused of raping a local twenty-two year old mentally retarded lady on Friday afternoon.
Activist Sunil Sah said that police inspector Shailendra Gachchhadar of Area Police Post, Golbazaar, had refused to arrest the alleged rapist. However, Gachchhadar later arrested Yadav after receiving a call from superintendent of police (SP) Bikram Gurung.
SP Gurung has directed the junior police officials to take stern action against alleged rapist if was confirmed a guilty.
