The blaze which first broke out at Sofi Mandal's house in Dauribharwa – 6 has incurred an estimated loss of more than Rs 2.5 million. The fire spread when food was being cooked at Mandal's house.
Two lambs were also killed in the raging fire while food, clothes, cooking utensils and cash and kind were burnt, District Police Office, Saptari said.
The fire was later doused by a fire engine dispatched from Rajbiraj with the support of locals and police. RSS
