Senior orthopedic surgeon at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Dr KC in on a hunger-strike stating that the 11-point agreement signed between him and the government was not implemented.
Prof Dr Divya Singh Shah, who is involved in Dr KC's treatment, said that Dr KC has been suffering from high blood pressure and urine infection.
Dr KC has already staged hunger strike for 64 days at different times in three years calling for reforms in the medical education.
Last time, Dr KC had staged the hunger strike for 14 days demanding implementation of Mathema Commission's report. Dr KC's aide Prof Dr Jeevan Chhetri said that the government has not paid heed to the demands raised by KC. RSS
