KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The Office of the President on Tuesday wrote to the government seeking advice on what it should do in regard to the Supreme Court decision nullifying the oath of Paramananda Jha.

The letter was sent as discussed during the meeting between President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Monday.

In the meantime, Jha on Tuesday received show cause notices from the Supreme Court regarding his refusal to take a fresh oath in the aftermath of the nullification of his oath taken in Hindi language on August 23, 2008.
