PM launches BB airways

KATHMANDU, Oct. 11: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai inaugurated the first commercial flight of BB Airways on Thursday and expressed confidence that the BB Airways would help boost tourism in the country.



Inaugurating the flight, Prime Minister Bhattarai said the government was ready to provide any privileges to the Airways that Nepal Airlines Corporation is enjoying because the government was for the promotion of private sector too.[break]



On the occasion, he lauded the role of non-Resident Nepalis for their contribution to the motherland.



Similarly, Chairman of BB Airways, Bhawan Bhatta said the new airways was begun to introduce Nepal in the international arena.



NRN Association Chairman Jeeva Lamichhane said the BB Airways would prove a milestone in tourism promotion in the country.



The BB Airways is the company owned and run by the NRNs.
