Photokabya kicks off

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: “Photokabya”, a photography exhibition organized by nepalphotography.org, a web portal designed to promote photography in Nepal, kicked off on Sunday at Nepal Art Council in Baber Mahal, Kathmandu. The exhibition was put together by ten amateur photographers, who are part of the web portal. [break]



Inaugurating the exhibition, veteran photographer Hari Bangsha Kirant said, “If a photo is worth a thousand words then there are million words out here.”



Fifty photographs by amateur photographers Chetez Tamang, Gaurav Dhwaj Khadka, Kushal Goyal, Prazwol Bhattarai, Prazwol Sijapati, Sagar Chitrakar, Shikhar Bhattrai, Sneha Shrestha and Swapnil Acharya are on display in the gallery. The exhibition will continue till January 9.
