Gold edges up slightly as silver slips by Rs 25

KATHMANDU, June 16: Gold prices in the domestic market saw a marginal rise on Tuesday, while silver recorded a slight decline.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 300 per tola to Rs 298,500. It had been traded at Rs 298,200 per tola on Monday.

In contrast, silver prices dropped. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,015 per tola on Monday, fell by Rs 25 to Rs 4,990 per tola on Tuesday, the federation said.


The federation determines daily gold and silver prices in Nepal based on international market rates.
