Paudel stresses consensus among parties

DHANGADI, June 15: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel has stressed consensus among the political parties to prevent the country from heading to crisis.



Speaking at a program in Dhangadi on Friday, Paudel said that implementation of the five-point agreement among the parties would pave the way for consensus among the parties. [break]"Consensus among the political parties will help polarization among the political parties," Paudel opined.



Paudel also said that country heading for federalism mode is not disintegrating country into 22/24 states like earlier days. "Federalism helps divide power and end power-centrism," Paudel argued.



Paudel also demanded election of the local bodies.



NC calls CWC meeting for Monday



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to hold its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Monday in its party office and asked its central members to attend the meeting.
