The committee has recommended three times the five vacant secretarial posts, as per a provision of the Civil Service Act-2049 B.S. The cabinet will promote five joint-secretaries to the posts of secretary.
The joint-secretaries recommended for promotion are Sital Babu Regmee, Bimal Wagle, Mahendra Shrestha, Madhav Ghimire, Ananda Pokharel, Shyam Sundar Sharma, Somlal Subedi, Krishna Chandra Paudel, Gyan Darshan Udas, Tulsi Sitaula, Bishwa Prakash Pandit, Sharada Trital, Kamal Pandey, Suman Sharma and Suresh Man Shrestha. No woman or Dalit candidate has been recommended.
