TANAHUN, June 17: A speeding mini truck struck a pedestrian to death and injured fiver others, three critically, at Jamune of Tanahun along the Prithvi Highway on Sunday.
Police identified one the two deceased as Prem Nepali of Jamune-9. He died during the course of his treatment at Ratnahari Hospital, Damauli.
Those injured in the incident are Bishnu Pariyar, Buddhi Bahadur BK and Sambhu Adhikari from the same locality. All of them have been taken to Pokhara for treatment.
The mini truck (Ba 2 Kha 9208) was en route to Narayangadh from Pokhara at the time of the incident.
