“Under the offer, we have brought down the price of a simcard to Rs. 650 from Rs. 1,135,” he said, adding that the discounted simcards will have balance call worth Rs. 500.
The move, according to the telecommunication giant, is a part of its policy of making mobile phone accessible to all.
Earlier, the Telecom had distributed the low-priced simcards to students.
