Talking to the media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, Gachchhadar said that the new constitution should address the feelings of larger population of mountain, hill and Tarai regions to ensure stability in the nation as the country has been witnessing political conflict for 65 years.
He added that he has contributed a lot for the constitution and has played crucial roles to bring the three major parties--Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) -- in a single forum for promulgating the new constitution.
Leader Gachchhadar added that the new constitution would be issued within few days and the demands of Tharu, Madhesi and ethnic minorities should be addressed and warned to quit the constitution drafting process if they were not met.
He informed that he had registered his disagreement in the Constituent Assembly (CA) considering that tomorrow's CA meeting would be unable to address the demands of Tharu, Madhesi and ethnic minorities.
He was of the statement that three major political parties were to blame for pushing the nation toward conflict. He, however, pledged to make maximum efforts to stop the conflict in the country even at the last moment of the constitution writing.
Gachchhadar said that political consensus among all forces was likely if the disgruntled parties' demands were fulfilled within few days.
He urged all to address the demands of all not to let the country toward conflict as the ongoing general strikes, clashes and protests have ruined the nation's economy. RSS
