Nepal has so far managed to grab a win and suffered a loss in the tournament, with a win over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in its first match by 149 runs on Friday and losing to Afghanistan by 10 wickets in second match on Saturday.
With it, Nepal is in third place in the competition with two points while the host Malaysia has been ranked second with four points. Likewise, Afghanistan is in first position with four points on the basis of run-rates while the UAE is in fourth position with two points.
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are left without any points. The three top winners will make it to the U-19 Asia Cup Tournament. The tournament has been participated by six countries including host Malaysia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. RSS
