According to a press statement issued by the embassy, a stall has been set up to showcase Nepal´s rich culture, nature and adventure to the visitors to the festival, a three-day event that began from February 8. [break]
Various publicity materials are being distributed to provide more information about Nepal and its tourism products. The annual event is one of the biggest events in the Australian capital. In a similar event last year, over 260,000 people were estimated to have visited the festival.
The statement said that Australia-Nepal Friendship Society based in Canberra has also been participating in the festival.
