At a welcome and get-together program organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sunsari in Dharan, Finance Minister Adhikari informed that the budget will be unveiled within a few days and the Finance Ministry has made final preparations in this connection.[break]
He also claimed that the new budget will be endorsed on consensus since main opposition Nepali Congress (NC)’s views have also been incorporated in the budget document.
The revenue evaders, whoever they are, will not escape from the actions, he added. Reiterating that VAT bill cheaters will be brought to book, Deputy Prime Minister Adhikari further said, ‘The government will take action against the revenue evaders at the earliest’.
On the occasion, Chairperson of Sunsari Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohankaji Shakya submitted memorandum to Finance Minister Adhikari to create environment where industry and business establishment can grow.
Dharan-based entrepreneurs, Kailash Agrawal, Jeevan Agrawal, Yogesh Agrawal, Giridhari Sapkota, Pramesh Shrestha, among others urged the Finance Minister to come up with measures to create business-friendly environment.
