During a meeting with the UCPN (Maoist) senior vice-chairman Mohan Baidya at his residence in Maharajgunj on Wednesday morning, Koirala said that there was a need of help of all sides for the constitution writing.[break]
In the meeting, Baidya expressed his dissatisfaction over the agreement made by political parties on the form of governance and state restructuring, and requested Koirala to move ahead by incorporating all by holding discussions with them.
On the occasion, Koirala said that his party would not compromise on democratic norms and values and added that he was ready to play a role in this regard.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Baidya said that he expressed his view that NC should play a crucial role to move ahead by including all.
He added that he informed Koirala that his faction was not satisfy with the agreement made on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, representatives of Darai Community this morning submitted a memorandum to Koirala and demanded an autonomous state with identity to their community.
On the occasion, Koirala assured the guarantee of rights of all ethnic groups in the new constitution.
