According to the Police, Pariyar and Tamang were traveling on a night bus to Ghaighat from Kathmandu. The incident occurred as Pariyar was getting off the bus at Ghaighat bus park on Sunday morning.
A witness said Tamang had been misbehaving with a female passenger in the bus and when Pariyar tried to stop him it led to a heated debate. "The argument which started at Ramnager in Chitwan became heated and he assaulted her before she could get off the bus," said the witness.
Police said further dertails about Tamang and the incident was awaited. It is unclear if Tamang had been detained. However, the police said they detained the bus driver and his helper for further investigations.
