During the press conference held to announce the event at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Durbar Marg, Kathmandu, on July 26, 2012, it was also declared that the fashion show this year will also hold a Model Hunt Competition and the auditions are scheduled to take place in Pokhara on August 11 and August 18 in Kathmandu.[break]
“Participants selected from both the cities will be participating in the final rounds in Kathmandu on August 25 and 26, 2012,” informed the organizer during the press meet.
“To participate in the Model Hunt Competition, one has to be 18 years and above,” said Srijana Josse, Director, Media of Classic Diamond Jewelers, adding, “The height must be 5 feet 4 inches and that interested candidates can also submit their forms from www.tpjfs.com.”

The winner of the model hunt will win a cash prize of Rs 100,000 and will be announced “The face of the Classic Diamond” giving her the chance to be the face behind the advertisement of the product.
The second and third runners up will also win cash prizes of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. The winners of the competition will also get the chance to walk the ramp during the “Timeless Paragon Jewelers Fashion Show” with other international models.
According to the organizers, along with the three winners of the model hunt, eight Indian models are set to walk the ramp and the choreography is to be coordinated by Rehan Shah.
