Minister Aryal said democracy can be institutionalized when the all parties represented in the Constituent Assembly join the government to end the present political deadlock.

She assured that the government will soon make deals to conduct local bodies´ election saying that in absence of representatives of local bodies, the budget allocated for them could not be taken to the targeted areas.

The minister said complaints about the misuse of social security allowance were even heard in the Ministry and the government will take action against the guilty.

For this, an all party mechanism in the local bodies should monitor and pass on the information whether or not the development budget allocated to the local bodies have reached the targeted area, she said.

On the occasion, municipality´s Executive Officer Yuva Raj Dahal presented the budget for the Fiscal Year 2068/069 passed by the 15th municipal council. The municipality has allocated Rs. 112.9 million for the fiscal year.
