BARDIYA, Feb 5 : A man was killed in a leopard attack while cutting grass in a community forest in Bardiya district on Thursday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as approximately 35-year-old Nandu Rokaya of Gulariya Municipality–4, Tulsipur. According to police, the incident occurred at the Janajagriti Community Forest in Barbardiya Municipality–11, Belbhar, where Rokaya had gone to collect grass.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Malla said the leopard attacked Rokaya suddenly, targeting his neck, resulting in his death on the spot.
Following the incident, security personnel were informed and reached the area. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
