KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Liverpool and Morgan International College on Wednesday booked semifinal spots in the Ncell U-18 Inter-college Basketball Tournament being held in the capital.
Liverpool edged past Times International College 54-39 in the first semifinal. Samir Niraula contributed 18 points for Liverpool which led the first three quarters 10-3, 19-16, 14-3.

Liverpool lagged behind 11-14 in the fourth quarter. Morgan edged past Xavier International College 50-40 riding on 15 points of Denju Gurung.
Morgan created the base for victory in the second and the third quarters leading them 16-7 and 12-8. Morgan fell behind 9-10 and 13-15 in the first and last quarters.
