Kafle sustained serious injuries to his head and right hand when the motorcycle (Ko 10 Pa 3586) was hit by a truck (Ko 1 Ja 597) at Aapgachhi along the Tarahara-Itahari road. [break]
Young Communist League (YCL) Dharan in-charge Binod Diyali, who was driving the motorcycle, has also sustained minor injuries. The truck hit them when Diyali slowed his motorcycle while approaching a speed-breaker ahead.
Kafle has been admitted to Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar. Kafle had come to Dharan, along with Finance Minister Barshaman Pun, to attend an interaction with local businessmen.
