MELAMCHI, March 26: The Langtang National Park is set to grant license to local people residing in the central part of the national park for picking Yarsagumba and making money out of that.

The national park has provided license to collect Yarsa in line with the government's directive for the same through Mountainous National Park Regulations-2071, said Assistant Conservation Officer Bhumiraj Upadhyay.

He further said the permission will be granted for the collection and sale of Yarsa and other herbal plants for up to 30 days in a season.

The amended National Park Regulations has specified the provision to grant license for the collection of Yarsa and other herbal plants within national park premises for business purpose. RSS
