Utsav Shrestha of LACM ´B´ scored twice during the league round of the match held at the covered hall of the Dasharath Stadium. Gaurav Manandhar scored the only goal for the hosts.[break]
In other matches of the day, Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) and WLC College won their respective matches, while Malpi Institute and Ace Higher Secondary School settled for a draw.
A brace from Dipen Rai helped NCIT defeat Rato Bangala 3-1. Sushil Baniya added another goal for the winners while Utsav Neupane pulled one back for Rato Bangala.
WLC secured a thumping victory over Prime as Zenith Dhaubanjar and Ajay Thapa Magar each scored a brace for the winning team. Salil Thakuri netted a consolation goal for Prime.
The match between Malpi Institute and Ace ended in a goalless draw.
The 10-day event is being held in league-cum-knockout format.
