The college organized an interaction at Kanchanpur on Thursday and made the decision public and provided discount cards. Around 100 people´s representatives and journalists from India participated in the program.
During the program, College´s Manager Director KP Sharma said the hospital wants to strengthen Indo-Nepal friendship by providing health services to Indian people similar to what their Nepali counterparts are enjoying.
He said that discounted health services have already been provided to teachers, journalists, people´s representatives, social workers and poor people of Arariya, Purniya, Supaul, Katihar including others districts from Bihar state.
The numbers of patients, who would visit the college for health services, have been expected to increase with the decision, said college´s director for international relationship Dr. Niranjan Kumar.
Indian people have to travel around 90 km distance on train to receive quality health service of the medical college.
