Govt, Limbuwan holding talks

TAPLEJUNG, Nov 16: The Nepal government is holding talks with the Federal Limbuwan State Council (FLSC) Wednesday.



Preparations are made to hold talks in the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction (MoPR) at 1 PM this afternoon, stated a letter sent to the FLSC by the Peace Minister Satya Pahadi. [break]



Through the letter the Peace Minister asked them to come to the Ministry after forming maximum a five-member talk team, the FLSC said.



Meanwhile, the FLSC has formed a talk team under the leadership of its central chairperson Sanjuhang Palungwa.



The call is made in an effort to address the demands put forward by various political parties active in different parts of the country through the means of dialogue.



The FLSC has been on agitation demanding the nine districts of the eastern Nepal be declared Limbuwan State on the basis of its historical background.
