KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Energy Minister and UCPN (Maoist) Secretary Posta Bahadur Bogati on Wednesday said that his party will move ahead with the plan of regrouping of Maoist combatants with or without the support from Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters´ Club in the capital, he said that although the peace and constitution drafting processes should be concluded to a logical end through consensus among all the parties, the government would be left with no options and will start the regrouping process if the parties don´t cooperate.[break]

He also accused NC and UML of trying to stall the peace process.

Bogati also claimed that Maoists are committed towards bringing the peace process to its logical end.

Meanwhile, NC leader Ram Sharan Mahat during the same program opined that the peace process should move ahead only if there is a consensus among the parties.

The integration number, relief package, rank harmonization and modality should be decided with consensus among the parties, Mahat added.
