Prices of gold and silver drop for fourth consecutive day

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmarked gold is now priced at Rs 259,600 per tola, while silver is valued at Rs 4,415 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: After several days of rising trends, the prices of gold and silver in the local market have fallen again, marking the fourth consecutive day of decline.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmarked gold is now priced at Rs 259,600 per tola, while silver is valued at Rs 4,415 per tola.


On Wednesday, hallmarked gold had traded at Rs 261,000 per tola, with silver at Rs 4,470 per tola.
