KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The prices of gold and silver fell slightly in local markets on Wednesday. Compared to Tuesday, gold dropped by Rs 1,500 per tola, while silver fell by Rs 5 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of one tola of hallmarked gold is Rs 300,400, and one tola of silver is Rs 4,880.

On Tuesday, FENEGOSIDA reported, one tola of hallmarked gold was Rs 301,900, and one tola of silver was Rs 4,885.
In the international market, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,920, while silver is priced at USD 75 per ounce.
