Five injured in YCL-YAN clash in Gulmi

GULMI, Nov 10: More than five persons were injured in a clash between Young Communist League (YCL) and Youth Association Nepal (YAN) at Durkot Rajasthal VDC-6 in the district on Sunday afternoon.



The clash ensued after the cadres of two organizations suddenly encountered with each other while they were holding election campaigns, said local teacher Krishna KC. [break]



An additional troop has been deployed to the incident site as soon as the information was received, said DSP Raj Kumar Lamsal of Gulmi District Police Office.



Meanwhile, Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) lashed out at the incident saying that the clash is against human rights and the Election Code of Conduct.
