Ambassador Upadhyaya who arrived here from New Delhi Friday informed the Prime Minister about comments heard in the public regarding the Tarai-Madhes agitation, he said talking to RSS after the meeting.
Ambassador Upadhyay is also scheduled to call on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and top leaders of major political parties.
It may be noted that Tarai-Madhes is gripped by political unrest for the past one month following the Madhes-centric political parties' protests against demarcation of federal units in the new constitution.
