Disqualified combatants withdraw banda

JHAPA, Nov, 25: The indefinite Nepal Banda called by the disqualified PLA combatants since Saturday has been called back from this afternoon.



According to Sunil Limbu, General Secretary of the group, it has withdrawn all the programs of banda since Sunday afternoon making a decision to organize Kathmandu valley centered protest within a week.



The former Maoist combatants, who were declared disqualified by the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN), had declared the banda for an indefinite period demanding that the tag of disqualified combatants to them should be removed, and lump sum financial package and other facilities be given to them.
