KATHMANDU, May 5: Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected across the country today, with chances of rain in several provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Hilly and mountainous regions will remain generally cloudy, while the Tarai will see partly cloudy skies.
Windstorm with rainfall likely today
Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces and at isolated locations in the rest of the country. There is also a possibility of light snowfall in some high-altitude areas.
Tonight, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy, while other provinces will witness partly cloudy conditions.
The MFD has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces and at one or two places in other provinces, with chances of snowfall in high-altitude regions.
