On the eighth anniversary of Swagat Tol Bikash Sanstha (STBS), the organization felicitated Yug Bahadur Basnet and his wife Tirthaa Basnet for taking proper care of the former´s nonagenarian mother Radha Basnet. [break]
“We have felicitated the Basnet couple as they have been taking proper care of their mother,” said Bhadra Thapa Magar, president of the STBS, adding,” This is to encourage others in the society to take proper care of their parents.
The STBS awarded the Basnet couple with Rs 10,000 and a letter of appreciation. STBS has been felicitating people for taking care of their parents since last year.
STBS also awarded poet Manu Manjil and artiste Bikarm Shree with Rs 5,000 each.
Likewise, the organization felicitated Yam Pradan and Shekhar Dhakal for their contribution in the field of journalism.
On the occasion, the organization also distributed food to street children.
