Durga Bahadur Pun, who was arrested from Kusmabazar with a country-made pistol has been charged under Arms and Ammunition Act, the police said.
However, 18 other YCL cadres who were also arrested with weapons were released on Monday.
The Maoist party, on the other hand, has said that its cadres have been charged of false accusations. It has demanded immediate release of its cadres.
